April & Matt

April 30th 2007

I had a nice engagement session with April and Matt last weekend. We had a great time, the weather was a little hot, but so was the couple… (pardon me, I’m a moron.) These two were a blast to photograph and it was obvious that they were having a great time standing next to each other. I’m really looking forward to a bridal session later this year with the lovely April, and a wedding in December.

Megan & Mitch

April 27th 2007

Last weekend, I had the honor of being the photographer at the wedding of the lovely Megan Makar and the handsome Mitchell Jefcoat. It was a beautiful day for a wedding, and a great group of people to enjoy the day with. I’d like to send a big thank you out to my wonderful assistant, Amber Faul… let me tell ya, she’s pretty super.

Here are a few of the shots I was able to grab.

April 24th 2007

Last weekend, Sarah Jett and I met up for her bridal session. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to photograph such a natural beauty, and this has me looking forward to a wedding day that’s just around the corner. Here are a few from our photo session. Feel free to leave me a comment if you like what you see.

Holly B.

April 16th 2007

Hello All. I really appreciate all the love everyone’s been sending my way concerning the new blog, you’re all far too kind. Last weekend, Holly and I dodged rain and cold weather at her bridal session… but let tell ya, it really payed off. We were able to get some really nice shots, even though it looked like a tornado could have been just around any corner. Holly… thanks for being such a trooper…

the best blog ever made…

April 12th 2007

Welcome to my new blog…

I have to tell ya… Im pretty excited about it. It’s a massive improvement from the old blog. Larger photos, better design, new logo, a sweet section about me, and the list never stops. I’ve added a couple of the last posts from the old blog to help get new one moving. The old blog will stay online if you’re looking for older photos, or if you’re wanting to peruse more than what I’ve got on this blog.

I have to give a mega shout out to the stellar designer/photographer who made this happen. My good friend Michael Jordan is the mastermind genius who made this happen… and the amazing part…. he made everything happen in less than a week, from concept to design to going live. This blog is designed to match my new website, which is just around the corner. It should be online in just a few weeks, and let me tell ya… It’s just as beautiful as this shiny new blog.

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think… and check back often if you really wanna be in the know.

a little lady…

April 12th 2007

Earlier this week I had a photo session with a brand new customer. Milleigh is less than a month old, and she was fun to photograph. I never could get her to listen to all the ideas I had for neat photos, but I managed to snag a few anyway.

Erin & Matt

April 11th 2007

Last weekend was the scheduled date for Erin & Matt’s engagement session. This date was booked a few weeks ago when Erin & Matt decided to use me as their wedding photographer. By the time the date for their engagements arrived, these two were already married. They snuck off and eloped on me, but we’re still taking some photos.

Erin & Matt, Thanks for being so great to work with. And Congratulations on your run away wedding.

Here are a few of the great shots from Saturday.

Amy & Tim

April 11th 2007

Ok Wow. How about some nice 50-60 degree weather… In Louisiana?? In April?? It happened. But I much prefer a few chill bumps over a few beads of sweat. Anyway… I met up with Amy & Tim in the excellent downtown area of Shreveport for their engagement session. These two were super easy to photograph, and we were able to get some really great shots. I look forward to working with these two again very soon… a bridal session, and a wedding are just around the corner.
