Earlier this week I had a photo session with this brother/sister combo… Let me tell ya, it was a “wild goose chase”. It was all I could do to keep up with this 6 year old “King of the World” and his 9 year old big sister, but boy did I ever try. We went downtown and managed to grab a few shots, so I thought I’d share a few favorites. And I can’t help but wonder… what would happen if Gap Kids were to see these shots???

A couple weekends ago, I had an engagement session with these two lovebirds in Baton Rouge… we stopped by the LSU campus for a few shots, and then we hit a nearby park to finish up. Despite the punishing heat & humidity, Ashley and Ben were a blast to photograph… and I’m looking forward to a wedding with these two in just a few weeks. When I post the images from the wedding, I’ll also post some of Ashley’s wonderful bridal session from last weekend…

While I was in Baton Rouge last weekend, I had a family session with the Finical Family in Denham Springs… We stayed around the house, and avoided the Louisiana heat & humidity that’s quickly reminding us what summer feels like in the deep south… Here are a few of my favorite shots…

This last weekend I shot a graduation party in Denham Springs for one of my favorite seniors ever… the lovely Paige Finical. These people really know how to have a good time… they had amazing chocolate fondue, some sweet tunes from a local Baton Rouge band, lots of laughs, and way too many friends…

Last weekend I photographed the wedding of two friends of mine from Louisiana Tech. Sarah has helped me survive quite a few finance exams and projects that would have normally left me needing to repeat a class, and Jake was always at the other end of the table trying to master the Spanish language…
I consider it a privilege to have had the honor of photographing the wedding for such a great couple… I hope our friendship doesn’t come to an end now that you two have left me behind at college…. Who knows… maybe baby pictures are just around the corner!?!?!
I posted more photos than normal, but I had a great time, and I thought these were too good to keep to myself…. A few of these shots were taken by my assistant, Amber Faul… she’s almost good enough to take my place… maybe I’ll retire.
This was only grape juice in a fancy bottle, but nobody told the bride.
