A few days ago I headed over to R-town to photograph Ms. Amy Doan, whose wedding is just around the corner. We had a great time running from bugs in the woods, keeping cool in this wonderful Louisiana weather, and taking lots of photos. Amy makes a beautiful bride, and was so so easy to photograph. Im really excited about how great they turned out, and here are a few I’d like to share.

Just a few days ago I had a photo session with Ms. Jennifer Elliott, the soon to be bride of my good friend Chad Creel. We had a great time battling the heat, keeping this mega dress from getting trashed, and makin’ some pictures. Even though Jennifer was looking really beautiful, she was still quite a trooper. We had lots of fun, and when it was all over, I knew we had some really nice shots. Here are a few I think you’ll all enjoy.

These images are from a South Louisiana wedding I photographed a couple weekends ago. I had a great time taking some fun getting ready shots, and then a few portraits, and then a nice ceremony at a church…. and then came the reception. WOW… these people really really know how to have a good time… Hours and hours on the dance floor.. and it never slowed down. Here are a few of my favorites.

Ashley got married a few weekends ago down south in Strawberryville USA… that’s Ponchatoula, La for those of you not familiar will the our fine state. These images were shot a couple weeks before the wedding, but I didn’t post them before to make sure that Ben, the groom, didn’t stumble onto a few images of his bride-to-be before the wedding… Here are a few I think you’ll all like.

There’s only a week left until the wonderful unveiling of the glorious iPhone. Apple is pretty great in my world, and I’m pretty excited about the effect the iPhone will have on the cell phone industry. Im not sure that I’ll get one just yet, but at some point I’ll be walking around with a big smile on my face because there’s an iPhone in my pocket.

For those of you who know my assistant / second shooter, Amber Faul, you know that she’s something like a real pro behind the camera. Amber has been shooting weddings with me for most of this wedding season, and things have been getting better and better, and Ive been really excited about how great things have been working out with her… and then she quit…. or whatever… just kidding. Amber and her wonderful husband Josh moved back home to south Louisiana. Amber’s still shooting some weddings with me, but against my wishes, I’m having to start looking for some new help…
I just wanna thank Amber for all of the wonderful help she’s given me, and I wish her the best with her own biz down south… everyone should check out her blog

Just the other day, I was headed to grab some seafood in Shreveport with my best pal, Chad and his soon to be better half, Jennifer. Since Shreveport has such a great downtown area, we decided to grab a few more engagements. Here are a few of shots I think you’ll all enjoy. The wedding is less than a month away…. time flies.
