Tracy & Sherman

September 29th 2007

I had a wonderful engagement session with Tracy & Sherman…. Everything went well until a bug decided to make it’s way up Tracy’s pants leg. She survived, and we moved on to grab a few more photos with the late evening light that creates such beautiful images. Here are a few of my favorites, I hope you all love what you see.

A couple weekends ago I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of these two love birds… Stacy and Paul have been a pleasure to work throughout the entire process, and the wedding day was absolutely perfect…. I had some great help from my wonderful assistant, Amber Faul, who always does an amazing job.

Here a few shots I think you’ll all enjoy…

the lovely Marilyn (she’s my sister)

September 15th 2007

Last week, I spent a few days in Baton Rouge with my sister, Marilyn. We enjoyed watching the Saints get smoked by the Colts, and we also found a few minutes for a bridal session since the wedding is only a few weeks away. There’s nothing more exciting and intimidating than working for your family, but I think things worked out nicely and we were able to get some great shots.

We made our way to Arsenal Park, snapped a few shots on the LSU Campus, and we even grabbed a few shots at the LSU Rural Life Museum. Here are a few of my favorites… and there’ll be plenty more shots after the wedding at the beautiful White Oak Plantation.

While Marilyn was getting ready, I took a few minutes to snap a few detail shots around her house… Isn’t this a rockin’ chair???

Yeah, I know, I’m a dork, but I just couldn’t help it. I’m quite a fan of Apple, and I had to show a little love.
