Brianna & John…

December 23rd 2007

These two sweethearts have been married for almost 5 years now, and they decided it was time for a photo session. I go to church with Brianna & John and was happy to have the chance to snag a few photos. I think everyone should have the opportunity to come and hear John in the choir. He can sing like a bird… wait a minute! He sings like a
really macho bird… sorry. Well, anyway… here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Merry Christmas Eve Eve to all….. :)

Emily & Casey… the portraits.

December 19th 2007

Hello All. I hope you’re all getting ready to cook that fat Christmas ham…. Less than a week until the big day, so things are pretty nuts in the city… even the city of West Monroe. Good luck with all of your last minute escapades…. some of which you don’t even know you’ll have to endure.

These are a few favorites from a recent portrait session with two good friends of mine… Emily & Casey have been together for a year, and they knew it was time for a few photos… (plus they’re both hot… so why not??) Casey & I go back to “the good ol’ days,” but I guess that’s enough said about that. It’s always fun to photograph a couple that’s up for whatever… needless to say, my job was super easy with these two. Ok Ok… here are the photos.

Everyone feel free to leave a comment… let me know what you think?? or leave a Christmas wish for these two lovebirds….

the lovely Shelly…

December 16th 2007

Just last weekend I took a trip up to Camden, AR to photograph Shelly’s bridal session. We had a great time, despite some unusually chilly weather. I’m looking forward to Shelly’s wedding this coming weekend, so you can expect more images soon… Here are a few of my favorites.

the Moore family…

December 15th 2007

Just a few days ago I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph an old friend’s family… Trent and I go quite a ways back, and we’ve been pals for nearly a decade now. We used to spend time getting into all sorts of hooplah and horseplay… and we’d even find time to chase the ladies, but that chase didn’t take Trent very long, as he’s really got that whole handsome thing happnin’… Trent’s sweet wife, Carla, is the children’s Pastor at Christ Church, so they’re something like a model family… And once you get to know Trent & Carla, you can’t miss Mr. Thomas, as he’s really the one that runs the whole show.

Here are a few of my favorites from their family photo session….

a few more NYC photos….

December 15th 2007

Here are a few more images from my Thanksgiving trip to New York….

we walked across the Brooklyn bridge…

from the top of the Empire State building… (15 second exposure)

I thought this shot really summed up the Museum of Modern Art… really crazy place.

It was way too cold for me to smile any bigger…

Sydney & Drew… the engagements

December 6th 2007

I hope everyone is having a great week… and I imagine you’re all ready for the weekend. This weekend should be fun as tomorrow starts 5 day stretch of photo sessions. Now that I’m out of school, I’m able to shoot more than ever, so be looking for more and more images on the blog. These are a few shots from an engagement session last weekend. Sydney and Drew were lots of fun and they really didn’t mind standin’ really close to each other for a few photos… all in all, my job was really easy. Here are a few favorites.

the Holiday Buzz…

December 6th 2007

Has anyone finished their Christmas shopping yet?? I really havent started yet, but I’ve got a few things in mind for the fam and a few friends. I’m blogging to give everyone an update on what’s happnin’ with the biz..

#1. I’ve graduated college, taken a vacation, and I’m back in the saddle. I’m really excited about finishing school, as I’ll now be able to dedicate even more time to taking care of my wonderful clients and I’ll have more dates available for bookings. I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a bachelors in Finance, but this is only to help run the business side of things, I’m not going anywhere.

#2. A new website is on the way and in a few short weeks everything should be completed. Bigger images, more music, and more of whatever else I can conjure up.

#3. If you’re considering me for your 2008 wedding, let me know, and I’ll tell you more about a special discount between now and the end of the year.

I have lots of images to blog, so dont go too far.
