While I can tell you that I’m lucky to have the best brides on the planet, I’ll have to be honest and say and Lori and Jason might be my favorite couple ever. These two have been absolutely wonderful to photograph and to work with, and their wedding took place on an amazing day in the French Quarter of New Orleans. It’s been my pleasure from day one.

Its been an honor to work with Amy and Justin from the very beginning. Amy is an old friend from our high school days, and I was flattered when she called and asked me to be her photographer. The weather almost kept this session from happening, but we went ahead and tried anyway. Well… the weather finally cooperated, and Kristen makes a beautiful bride, so as you’ll see, the session went great. Kristen’s wedding was last weekend in Shreveport, and you can be looking for those photos soon.

The photos are from Sommer and Matt’s wedding in Ruston a few weeks back. It was a beautiful fall day, and these two love birds decided to go ahead and tie the knot. I’ve had a great time getting to know Sommer and Matt, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get Matt to use one of my photos as his Facebook profile choice… So far, I haven’t been able to deliver, so we’ll see if these photos help me out any. It was something like 40 degress out and the wind was making it feel more like duck hunting weather than weather for an engagement session. But that didn’t stop us… We ran all around Black Bayou, looking for warm spots to stop and take some photos. We didn’t find too many warm spots, but we were able to get some great photos. Here are a few of my favorites.

So on my last trip to New Orleans, I had a family session with the Burge family. Christian Burge is a great photographer located in southern Mississippi, so I was under some extra pressure to get some great images of her family. Well… I think we were able to get some nice photos, and we sure had a lot of fun making it happen.

These are a few photos from a couple of weekends ago in New Olreans. I was down for a wedding, and the next day I had a couple of portrait sessions with Megan and Robert. These two newlyweds are from Mobile, and wanted to get some photos taken after their wedding. I had a blast with these two, and Im super pumped about the photos. Let me know what you think.
